This is the last Will and Testament of John Drury of Tanworth in Arden. It is interesting in that it gives a complete listing of his belongings. He leaves all his goods to his wife, Margaret, except for certain items which he leaves to his son John and other items which he leaves to all his children equally.

These registers were searched from 1600 to 1677 in search of Joseph Drury, however, no relevant Drurys were found between 1600 and 1639.

The Land Petitions are shown here. The mystery is the one for William Drury which was carried out a few days after that of Joseph Drury. We have no record of a William Drury at this date (Could not have been William Drury b.1801 - one of Joseph's sons - as he was on a convict ship bound for Australia on this date). Who was he ?
