Book showing names of tenants of the Manor of Kenilworth in 1734.

There is an entry showing that Lydia Drury, wife of John Drury (1656 - 1730) carried on his farm after his death. The entry reads:

Lydia Drury - Tenant at will for a term of many years of certain meadows and closes bordering on The Nippledines containing about 40 acres in all.

These books list the ancient deeds that are available for inspection at P.R.O. London. There was only one of interest as follows:

Lease of William Hare and Joan his wife to Edmund Gray and Henry Drury esquires etc. of a messuage and 40 acres of land, 2 acres of meadow and 1 acre of wood in Berkswell, Warwks.
